Episode One of the Session Players features three compositions selected to showcase the versatility of the musicians as well as for their natural feel. We also get to see the range of types of sessions in which the players perform.

The first is a new composition recorded as a "demo." The composer hopes to use the demo to attract an artist's interest and in turn lead to a fully produced record.

The second session is an "artist pitch," in which up-and-coming recording artist Nina Sharp gets to highlight her vocal abilities. This recording needs to sound more finished and tailored to Nina's style.

The third is an instrumental piece, a feelgood tune that's really all about the players having some fun.
